Our Goats...
We have about 20 Nubian does, and 3 Nubian bucks.  We raise all of our Nubian kids on the
bottle and lamb bars so they are very people-friendly when you are ready to take your new
baby home.  All babies are wormed and given their CD&T vaccines before they leave our
place.  Our Nubian herd bloodlines began with Smooth Operator, and contain Pruittville,
Iron-Owl, and Lakeshore.  Our herd is CAE and CL free, we test through Washington State
University each year and have had negative results every time.

BRUSHY CREEK FARM
Our Soap and Lotion...Why use goat milk in soap and lotion?

Milk, in general, has extremely soothing and moisturizing qualities.  However, goat milk from
Nubian goats is made of 5% butterfat and 3.5% protein.  Milk protein has a very high nutritional
value, containing essential amino acids.  Soap and lotion made with milk is naturally high in
protein.  This unique property of milk-based soaps and lotions can make an exceptionally
soothing favorite for delicate complexions.

The combination of goat milk and superior natural oils such as coconut oil, olive oil, cocoa
butter, and an all-vegetable shortening, along with essential oils and herbs are used in
producing our soaps.  We believe these are the finest ingredients for soap making.  Coconut oil
lends to a fluffy lather, olive oil offers additional moisturizing properties, the all-vegetable
shortening allows for a harder and more stable bar, and the cocoa butter is known to provide
extra moisture for the skin.  The combination of these oils and herbs with our goat milk from
Nubian dairy goats raised on our farm, produces a lovely, moisturizing product.  The high
butterfat content in the milk Nubians are known for producing contributes to the high quality of
the soap.

Our lotions are all handmade with the fresh goat milk from our goats, aloe vera gel, coconut oil,
olive oil, vitamin E, emulsifying wax, germaben II (preservative), and essential oils.  Each of
these oils provide a specific quality to the lotion that gives the soothing and moisturizing feeling
everyone wants for their skin.

Pamper yourself with a soothing bath using our goat milk soap and enhance
your skin with our luxurious, creamy goat milk lotion.
Brushy Creek Farm...
Now a Grade A Dairy

Why get goat milk:
•  It is the next best thing to mother’s
milk, and more easily accepted than formulas and cow's milk.
•  The protein in goat milk is more easily and
rapidly digestible.
•  There are higher quantities of calcium,
vitamin B-6, vitamin A, potassium, niacin,
copper, selenium, and vitamin B-12 in goat
milk than in other animal’s milk.
•  Goat milk has a high percentage of butterfat...
which gives it that sweet creamy taste.
•  It is naturally homogenized.
•  Many people with dairy/milk allergies or
lactose intolerant can drink goat milk.

Brushy Creek Farm is a Grade A Dairy licensed by the State of Texas.

Ephesians 1:11-14
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who
works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were
the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included
in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed,
you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit
guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to
the praise of his glory.
